The counselling that we offer is of a specialist nature dealing with a wide-range of sexual issues. Support would include an exploration of the root causes of sexual difficulties. The choices available can also be explored taking into account the client's beliefs and desires.

It may also be helpful to discuss how the struggles are affecting other areas of the client's life, and which traits of character are part of the roots of the sexual difficulties.

Problems arising from lack of affirmation, emotional dependency, guilt, envy, and defensive detachment can also be discussed.

Difficulties because of anxiety, pornography, fantasies and masturbation may also arise.

Low self-esteem, feelings of isolation, lack of will power,  and absence of sexual identitiy can also be part of the counselling. Acceptance of the sexual problems, the need for intimacy, masculinity, and isolation are also likely to be discussed.

Counselling takes place in a friendly safe environment with Malcolm Upsall who is a fully-qualified and experienced counsellor.
